It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Baso of Blairsville, Georgia, born in New York, New York, who passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andres Valero and Petra Santiago Valero; her husband Eddie Baso; and her sisters, Petra Valero and Julia Vega.
She is survived by: her son Dennis; her daughter-in-law Karen Anne Baso of Blairsville; her brothers, Andrew Valero of Norfolk, VA. and John Valero of New York City, NY.; and her grandchildren, Delaina Marie Leird and Danette Marie Baso-Silvers. She is also survived by her family and friends.
