He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maudine Hughes Fortenberry of Blairsville and Robert C. Fortenberry; his son Adrian Fortenberry of Canton, GA.; his brother Gregg; and his sister-in-law Lisa Fortenberry of Blairsville.
In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Shady Grove Cemetery fund or to the American Cancer Society in Ira's memory.
