It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Wellborn Owenby (Blairsville, Georgia), born in Shidler, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 5, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Frankie Rogers Wellborn and Olin F. Wellborn of Blairsville; her husband Maddox C. Owenby; and her siblings, Sarah Carmon, James Rogers and Olin Wellborn Jr.. She is survived by : her sister Eleanor Lee; and her brother-in-law Hugh Lee. She is also survived by her daughter, Janie DeLoach-Clark, 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
