With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grapelle Davis Penland (Blairsville, Georgia), who passed away on May 27, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ferrell Wyly Penland; her parents, Lester Davis and Dollie Berry Davis; her brothers, Rouse and Clifford; her sister-in-law Jo Evelyn Davis; her sister Catherine; her brother-in-law Frank Jarrett; and her parents-in-law, Emory Abercrombie and Jim Everett.
She is survived by: her son Ronny; her daughter-in-law Janie Penland; her granddaughters, Julie (Lee Fullbright) and Elizabeth (Chris Murphey); her great grandchildren, WJ, Janie Fullbright, Reagan Bishop, Chapman and Levi Murphey; her niece Catherine Jarrett Stephens; her nephew Justin Jarrett; her sisters, Patti Everett and Betty Phillips; her sisters-in-law, Josephine Akins and Betty Davis; and her niece Cathy Jarrett.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Harmony Grove Baptist Church.
