It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gillian Heather Murray of Blairsville, Georgia, born in Wallington, Eastern, who passed away on December 7, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Edwin Stripp and Hilda Bird Stripp; her former husband Paul Knoblett; her brothers, Michael and Roger Stripp; and her stepson Dean Robert Murray.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Murray of Blairsville; her daughter Marcella; her son-in-law Steven Casper of Mount Airy, MD.; her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Aya Knoblett of Orange Park, FL.; and her stepchildren, Dawn Durrance of Jacksonville, FL. and Jim Murray IV of Plantation, FL.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Quilt of Valor Guild in Gillian's memory.
