He is survived by: his wife Diane Jones of Blairsville; his children, Rhonda Burney (Gene) of Ellijay and Mitchell Jones of Ellijay; his stepson Michael Smith of Covington, GA; and his sister Shirley Walker (Robert) of Ellijay. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
