He was predeceased by: his mother Laura Swabscin; and his brother Charles McCray. He is survived by: his wife Lois McCray of Blairsville; his sister Janice; his grandchildren, Shem Owens, Joshua Stranger (Halie) and Amy Stranger; and his great grandchildren, Logan and Emma. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
