He was predeceased by: his parents, George Winfred Evans Sr. and Lucy Bell Yawn Evans (Patty Christine); and his son Mark George Evans. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Butler and David Evans; his sister Margaret Gibson of Blairsville; his grandsons, Dante Silver Evans and Corey Marcus (Nina Butler); and his great grandchild Adalynn Marie Butler. He is also survived by Several Nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Mr. Evans memory.
