He was predeceased by: his parents, Champ Lance Sr. and Edna Everett Lance; and his brother James Fulmer Lance (Jennie). He is survived by: his wife Rachel Payne Lance; his siblings, Champ Lance Jr., Bobby Lance (Janice), Larry Lance (Jo) and Shirley Shook (Darrel); his son Matthew Lance; and his stepson Chris Anderson (Amanda).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home & Crematory Blairsville Chapel (41 Hunt Martin St, Blairsville, GA 30512). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In leiu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude.
