It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva Ruth Bailey of Blairsville, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on May 9, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vivian Cook Sexton of Blairsville and Neal Sexton; her husband Gerry Bailey; her children, Lynn Thornton of Blairsville, Renea Patterson of Blairsville, Jeff (Michelle Kelley) and Mark (Rebecca Kelley); her sister Cricket; her brother-in-law Shane Pippen of Granbury, TX.; her brothers, Charlie Sexton of Austell, GA. and John (Pam Jordan); her grandchildren, James Potts, Kirsten Christian, Austin Kinnett, Cadin Coles, Kylie Kelley, Chloe Kelley, Christian Kelley and Ethan Kelley; and her great grandchild Kyler Passmore. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
