It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin McKinley Ensley Jr. (Blairsville, Georgia), born in Murphy, North Carolina, who passed away on March 10, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin McKinley Ensley Sr. and Verdie Duckworth Ensley. He is survived by: his pet Beau; his daughter Monica; his son-in-law Shane Anthony of Carrollton, GA.; his sons, Frank Stephens of Villa Rosa, MO. and Lance; his daughter-in-law Carolyn Ensley of Hueytown, AL.; his brother Sam; his sister-in-law Kathy Ensley of Blairsville, GA.; his sister Sara Smith of Las Vegas, NV.; and his grandchildren, Will Anthony, Elizabeth Anthony, Joel Stephens, Samantha Stephens and Gennady Ensley.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Humane Society's Mountain Shelter (P.O. Box 1252 Blairsville, GA 30514).
