He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank H. Gunter and Dellie Gunter; and his wife Shelbie Swanson Gunter. He is survived by: his sons, Kevin (Jeriann Gunter) and Kelly (Michelle Gunter); his sister Geraldine; his siblings-in-law, Harvey Jackson of Blairsville and Sandra Gunter of Blairsville; and his grandchildren, Josh Gunter (Hayley), Katlin Shoemake (Nick), Ashton Miller (Austin), Kendra Gunter, James Holloway (Megan) and Justin Holloway (Stacey).
