It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Carol Smith of Blairsville, Georgia, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on September 21, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Johnson and Bertie May Nix Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Wade Smith of Blairsville, GA; her children, Michael Wayne Smith of Lansing, Wade C., Ester Smith, Jr. of Dunnellon, FL and Bertie Lynn Fensterle of Blairsville, GA; and her sister Nancy (Donald Babbs). She is also survived by six grand-children and fifteen great grandchildren.
