It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Ovell (Blairsville, Georgia), born in Anniston, Alabama, who passed away on June 8, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clements and Velma Harris Clements; and her former husband Darrell Davis. She is survived by: her children, Diane Parsons (Les) of Gainesville, GA, Tony Davis (Peggy) of Eufaula, OK, Terry Davis of Keystone Heights, FL, Lynn Davis (Richard Hendrix) of Suches, GA and Claire Long (Max) of Tifton, GA; her sisters, Orelee Kirby (Kyle) of Anniston, AL and Gerlene Bagley of Powder Springs, GA; and her grandchildren, Allan Nail, Erin Berryman, Michael Davis, Cameron Davis, Eli Davis, Isaiah Davis, Gavin Davis, Sheri Long, Trish Long and Michelle Coram. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Evelyn's memory.
