With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn Delores Rogers of Blairsville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2025 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kermit Dalrymple and Julia Kilpatric Dalrymple; her husband Charles Edward Rogers; and her son Gary Lee Rogers. She is survived by: her son Darrell; her daughter-in-law Sharon Rogers of Ellijay, GA; her daughter Glenda; her son-in-law Sammy Nichols of Blairsville, GA; her siblings, Reva Withrow of Ellijay, GA, Brenda Thomas (Freddy) of Blue Ridge, GA and Leroy Dalrymple (Gail) of Gillsville, GA; her grandchildren, Abby Jackson (Derek), Greg Rogers (Beverly), Amanda McBride (Kevin) and Jimmy Nichols (Danya); and her great grandchildren, Ellie Mae Teasley of Clifton Teasley, P. J, Emily Schoen, Kendyl McBride, Camden McBride, Jackson Nichols and Jacob Nichols.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (78a Butternut Crossing, Blairsville, GA 30512). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel (78a Butternut Crossing, Blairsville, GA 30512).
