It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel May Baker of Blairsville, Georgia, born in Brazil, Indiana, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcus Crail and Louise Bottorff Crail; her former husband Roy Edward Spears; her husband Gale Baker; and her siblings, Mary Shumar and Ray Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Michelen Weaver of Blairsville, Ronald (Kathy Spears) and Steven (Debby Spears); her brother Alan; her sister-in-law Maryanne Bottorff of Charlotte, NC.; and her grandchildren, Terralena Hughes (Larry), Tawnya (David), Shanon Spears (Christy) and Heather Palermiti. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
