He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Tench and Fannie G. Allen Tench. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Rogers Tench of Blairsville; his brother Andy; his sister-in-law Judy Tench of Alto; his sister Pamela Tench of Seneca; his children-in-law, Ginger Wood of Hiawassee and Shane Haney of Young Harris; his stepgrandchildren, Faine Wood, Luke Woody, Lane Haney and Livia Haney; and his close friend Ethan Howard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
