We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2021, at the age of 42, Dorothy Leigh Mathis of Blairsville, Georgia, born in East Point, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Luther Cager Mathis III. She is survived by: her parents, Luther Cager Mathis and Trudy Nell Davies Mathis of Morganton; her sons, Tristan Gordon Mathis of Morganton and Takoda Gabriel Mathis of Morganton; her nephew Luther Cager Mathis IV; her uncle Terry; and her aunt Bonnie Davies. She is also survived by several cousins, many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Dorothy's memory.
