She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Junior Dyer and Ruby Nell Mitchell; and her son Dwayne Leroy Young. She is survived by: her husband Dwight Leroy Young of Young Harris; her daughter Katelyn Thomas of Blairsville; and her brothers, Larry (Vicki Dyer), Ricky (Sue Dyer) and Jerry (Lynn Dyer).
