With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Brian Simmons of Blairsville, Georgia, born in Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 27, 2023 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ellen Naomi Mosher Simmons of Little Compton, RI. and Malcolm Simmons; his wife Teresa Gannett Simmons of Blairsville; his children, Heather Simmons (Hal), Dawn Simmons (Nick) and David; his daughter-in-law Camila Simmons of Blairsville; and his sisters, Naomi Simmons and Heather Simmons.

Flowers are accepted or if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Faith Baptist Church for Missions in David's memory.

“I didn't know Dave for a long time but met him fueling up his motorcycle at Walmart and became riding buddy's immediately. Enjoyed rides to Louisiana Bayou country last winter, trips to festivals and exploring nature in our own backyard on two wheels. Dave was always ready to help on projects around the house and on our many vehicles. One of our challenges was to somehow "southernize" Dave. A tall order I can assure everyone. Dave you will be missed and rest in peace. Mark in Blairsville”
