He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hackney and Bessie Potter Hackney; his son Darrell Hackney Jr.; and his brother David Hackney. He is survived by: his wife Monalee MacDonald Hackney of Blairsville; his daughters, Sharon (Bob Hisey) and Debi (Vinnie Dibiasio); his grandchildren, Neshaminy Hisey, Nicholas Hisey, Alexandria and Thomas Kuhn; and his great grandchildren, Alexis, Alyssa, Jay and Kai.

In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that a note or card may be sent to Monalee at 131 5th St. Clyo, GA. 31303 in Darrell's memory and would be greatly appreciated.
