He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred F Smith and Joan D Smith (Bailey); and his children, Daniel Smith and Adalynn E. He is survived by: his son Michael Patrick Smith; his grandsons, Kyle Barrett Smith and Zachery Carroll; the mother of his child Catherine Wilkins; his sister-in-law Jeanne Ryan; and his wife Beverly. He is also survived by three step children.
