With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daisy Savannah Groves Maynard (Blairsville, Georgia), who passed away on April 13, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Bowers and Ada Rich Bowers; her former husband Grady Verlin Groves; her husband Silas Maynard; and her siblings, Ann Totherow and Willie Bowers.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Groves, Leslie (Mona Groves) and Perry Groves; her sisters, Ruby Warren Hogsed of Blairsville and Margie Harkins of Blairsville; her grandchildren, John (Jessica Groves), Deacon (Ashley Groves), Greda Groves, Adina (Joey Swanson) and Kelley Brown; her great grandchildren, Ashley, Jason Lingerfelt, Stephen, Jordan, Connor Swanson, Phoebe and Grant Groves; her great great grandchild Elowen Lingerfelt; and also Marilyn.
Flowers are accepted or if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Mt. Pleasant #2 Baptist Church Cemetery fund in Mrs. Maynard's memory.
