He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Munkus and Hester Sexton; his daughters, Melissa (Brett Buchanan), Samantha Munkus of Blairsville and Rachel (Shawn Rich); his sister Maggie Hansen of Gadsden, AL.; and his grandchildren, Devin Deese, Blake Deese and Joseph Fordham.
In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Mr. Munkus.
