With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Elizabeth Parsons of Blairsville, Georgia, who passed away on November 27, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Johnson and Olga Johnson (Holm); her husband Wayne S. Parsons; her children, David Parsons and Jean P. Mallory; and her siblings, Harriett Van Buren, Walter and Kenneth Johnson.
She is survived by: her sister Susan L. Valenti of Tacoma, WA.; her children, James C. Parsons (Connie Shrader) of New Orleans, LA. and Linda Stewart (Michael) of Blairsville, GA.; and her grandchildren, Michael Stewart Jr., Erica Oden, Katherine, Douglas, Kenneth Stewart, Daniel and Heather Mallory. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to Homestead Hospice or to a favorite charity of your choice in Carolyn's memory.
