She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Whitt Wheeler and Mary Ruth Gibson Wheeler; her sister Barbara; her brother-in-law Danny Bryant of Morganton, GA.; her brothers, Billy Wheeler of Robbinsville, NC., Dennis Wheeler of Hiawassee, Danny Wheeler, Bobby Wheeler, David Wheeler, Jimmy (Minnie Sue Wheeler) and Timmy (Sheila Wheeler); her grandchildren, David Bell, Paige Patton, James D. Patton, Levi Patton and Savannah Patton; and her great grandchild Paisley Patton. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
