Audrey Lee Owenby Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Audrey Lee Owenby of Blairsville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Audrey Lee shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Audrey Lee farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Whitt and Mildred Whitt; her husband Clifford Owenby; and her siblings, Kathy Johnson and David Whitt.
She is survived by: her daughter Gedgit Davis (David); and her siblings, James Whitt (Angie), Jackie Odom (Chris), Becky Whitt, Alice Daniel and Nancy Townsend. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel of Blairsville (41 Hunt Martin St, Blairsville, GA 30512). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery (1030 Gumlog Rd, Blairsville, GA 30512).
