He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonso Sr. Bryant and Ruby Bryant; his son Randy Bryant; and his sister Beth Ankney. He is survived by: his wife Jean Bryant; his children, Teri Pryor (Jeff), Kevin Bryant (Susie) and Bruce Bryant; and his stepson Ted Davis (Linda). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
