With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Elver Hodge of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Patterson, Georgia, who passed away on September 26, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elver Hodge and Maude Foster Hodge; his wife Mary Louise Ivey Hodge; his daughter-in-law Inez Hodge; and his siblings, Mary Dykes and Marvin Hodge.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Hodge (Kerry Mixon) of Blackshear and Dale Hodge of Blackshear; his brother-in-law A. B. Dykes of Blackshear; and his grandchildren, Christopher Nowell, Kenzi Cardwell, Zach Cardwell (Summer), Robbie Norman, Lisa Nowell and Jessie Nowell (April). He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews.
