It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terence Pearson of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Waycross, Georgia, who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia P. Galloway; his grandmother Martha Pearson; his parents-in-law, Annie D. Thigpen and Rev. Jody Thigpen; his stepfather Jesse O. Galloway; and his niece Annie Nichols.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Thigpen Pearson of Blackshear; his daughter Jenny; his son-in-law Jeffrey Parr of Blackshear; his grandchildren, Jey (Jamie Parr), Jarrett Parr of Blackshear and Jenna Parr of Blackshear; his great grandchild Elsie J. Parr; his siblings, Gayle Richardson (David) of Douglasville and Jess O. Galloway (Rhonda) of Greenville, SC; his siblings-in-law, Annelle Bryant (Sonny) of Bonaire, Marvene Brooks of St. Simons Island, Jean Wood (Jim) of Waycross, Debbie Nichols (Harry) of Newberry, FL, Tammy Jeffords (Steve) of Blackshear, Billie Jo Thigpen (Shirley) of Blackshear, Saul Thigpen (Tammie) of Hoboken and Sammy Thigpen of Blackshear; and his friend Elon Gillis Galloway of Waycross. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
