It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Faye Eagerton of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Screven, Georgia, who passed away on February 24, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Edgar and Dortha Hayes Kirkland; her husband Robert Jasper Eagerton, Sr.; her son William Lee "Billy" McKenzie; and her siblings, Donna Eagerton, Judy Richardson and William Edgar "Eddie" Kirkland.
She is survived by: her son David Leroy McKenzie of Blackshear; her brother John Edwin Kirkland of Blackshear; her granddaughter Amanda McKenzie of Charleston, SC; and her niece Sherri Ann Wasden Mixon (Christopher) of St. Stephen, SC.
