We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2023, at the age of 78, Sharon A. Kersey of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Dothan, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander McClain and Erma Louise Cumerford Hansford. She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa Thomas (Keith) of Moultrie and Pamela Haney (Mike) of Blackshear; her grandsons, Stephen Waldee (Melissa) of Simpsonville, S. C., Brian Kirkland of Moultrie and Eric Kirkland (Abby) of Trussville, AL; her great grandchildren, Marilyn Waldee, Michael Waldee, Hilton Waldee, Elliot Kirkland and Taylor Bowles; and her siblings, Edna McAfoos of Jacksonville, FL, Barbara Godshall of Kentucky and Wayne Maddox (Kathy) of Brandon, FL. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
