She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Mack Merritt and Effie Mae Driggers Merritt; her husband Lester Carleton McLeod; and her siblings, Billy Strickland, Charlie Merritt, Daisy Strickland, Mary Shiver and Faye Yoas.
She is survived by: her children, Carl Dennis Dixon, Jr. of Brunswick, Rhonda McLeod of Blackshear and Sherry McRae (Robert) of Blackshear; her grandchildren, Lindsey McLeod, Katelyn McLeod of Mac McLeod, T. J, Thomas Patrick Westberry, Sherry Marie Westberry, Tonya Westberry, Cody McRae, Riley McRae, Chase McRae and Spencer McRae; her great grandchildren, Jake, Mary Anne of Abby, J. T., Rosie, Samuel, Skylit and Leah; her siblings, Mary Ann Merritt, Sharon Grundy (Dave), Patricia Carter, Amanda Stone (Joe) and Jimmie Merritt (Lenora); and her close friend Raymond Strickland. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
