He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lester and Carie Alma Pierce Boyett; and his siblings, Juanita Lee, Morita Lee, Earl Boyett, T. J. Boyett, Elder Winston Boyett, Elder Willis Boyett and Milford Boyett.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hope Boyett of Blackshear; his stepchildren, Jan Carter of Blackshear, Lynn Marsh (Dennis) of Yulee, FL and Hal Reynolds (Michelle) of Yulee, FL; and his siblings, Genoa Lee of Alma, Geneva Bacon of Alma and Charlie Boyett of Blackshear. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
