She was predeceased by: her parents, Caney Silvester and Lavonia Azalee Lovell Carnes; her husband William Arvil Tillman; her son William Arvil Tillman Jr.; and her siblings, Ruby Wasdin, Rachel Hyers, Doc Carnes, Dave Carnes, Sam Carnes, Tom Carnes, Bard Carnes, Mark Carnes and Mack Carnes.
She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Thrift, Carolyn (Stanley Blalock) and Dennis Lowell Tillman (Linda) of Clarksville Tn; her daughter-in-law Pat Tillman of Blackshear; and her grandchildren, Brenda Cash (David), Lynn Thrift, Kelly Bowen (Rodney), Jean Allday (David), Susanne Thrift, Elizabeth Thornton (Ron), Vicki Jeffords (Allen) and Selena Bennett (Archie). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.; and several nieces, nephews.
