He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer C. Davis and Wanell Tuten Davis; his granddaughter Brittney Mallard; and his sisters, Deloris Johnson and June Smart.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen McLean Davis of Blackshear; his children, Laurie Mallard (Gill) of Jesup and Kevin Davis (Mary) of South Carolina; and his siblings, Whitmer Davis (Shelby Jean) of Alma and Carol Hersey (Buddy) of Waycross. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
