He is survived by: his wife Valerie Baker of Blackshear; his daughter Edie Carter (Alvin) of Blackshear; his stepson Ronnie Carter (Dana) of Blackshear; his grandchildren, Lena Mixon (Bryce), Gavin Carter, Lily Carter and Grayson Carter; his great grandchild Mayleigh Mixon; and his siblings, Linda Walker of Waycross, Jerald Baker of Waycross, Patricia Corbitt (Leon) of Blackshear, Darlene Byrne (David) of Jackson, Diane Strickland of Blackshear and Rose Johns (Otis) of Hickox. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
