It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Eugene Lee of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Ellaville, Georgia, who passed away on April 5, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Lee of Washington and Annie Battle Lee; his sister Ruth; his brother-in-law Richard Blankenship; his brother Lonnie; his sister-in-law Sheila Lee; and his brother Dicky Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Gracie Griner Lee of Blackshear; his sons, Kevin Eugene Lee of Blackshear and Joey Lee (Alle) of Patterson; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Goodin (Bailey) of Americus, Austyn Holcombe of Hopeful, Ella Williamson of Patterson, Chloe Lee of Patterson, Bentley Lee of Patterson, Bradley Lee of Patterson and Logan Kevin Lee of Patterson; his great grandchild William Goodin; his siblings, Becky Phillips of Ellaville and Henry Lee (Kathleen) of Fayetteville, N. C.; his niece Emily Byles of Ohio; and his nephew A. J. Byles of Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
