He is survived by: his children, Sharon Rice (Rogelio) of Blackshear, Lisa Poore (Levi) of Blackshear, Michele Corbitt of Waycross, Michael Rice of Blackshear, Joe Rice of Blackshear, Richie Herrin (Jessica) of Blackshear and James Phillips of Waycross; and his siblings, Dan Herrin (Rose) of Mershon, Ralph Herrin of Blackshear, Sammy Herrin of Blackshear and Wanda Moody of Hoboken. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
