He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Harrison and Lillian Tippins Harrison; his wife Dorothy Mae Highsmith Harrison; and his siblings, Mary Phillips, Mack Harrison, Jr. and Philip Charles Harrison.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanette Harrison of Blackshear, Richard L. Harrison, Jr. (Evon Strawder) of Patterson and Jimmy Dale Harrison of Blackshear; his granddaughter Kay-Lee Raine Harrison of Patterson; his sister Gail; and his brother-in-law Pete Lanier of Blackshear. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
