It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rena Bowen of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Willacoochee, Georgia, who passed away on February 9, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Eric and Doris Roberts Gibbs; her husband Charles Marcus Bowen, Sr.; her daughter Jami Bowen Singleton; her son-in-law Ricky Mattox; her great grandchild Reese Walker; and her siblings, Mary Lou Cochran and Billy Joe Gibbs.
She is survived by: her children, Becki Mattox of Blackshear, Mark Bowen (Teresa) of Blackshear and Joli McQuaig (Alton) of Blackshear; her grandchildren, Jacob Walker (Nancy) of Patterson, James Williams of Patterson, Miranda Robins (John) of Blackshear, Lauren Stewart (Chase) of Blackshear, Taylor Ritchie (Roger) of Blackshear, Trey McQuaig of Blackshear, Alli McQuaig of Blackshear, Molli McQuaig of Blackshear, Jack Williams, IV (Yvonne) and San; and her great grandchildren, Addison Stewart, Kaley Robins, Emilee Robins, Skylynn Robins, Raylynn Robins, Natalee Walker, Maddie Ritchie and Tucker Ritchie. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
