He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Ray Shirah and Christine Wesline Lynn; his stepfather Danny Lynn; and his sister Lisa Steedley. He is survived by: his sisters, Connie Steedley (late Allen) of Brantley County and Christy Lynn of Waycross; and his nephews, Jason and Dustin Steedley.
