He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Jacobs and Ethel Sapp Jacobs. He is survived by: his wife Diana Jacobs of Blackshear; his stepdaughter Crystal Smart of Blackshear; his stepgrandsons, Nathan Lordeo of Blackshear and Jonathan Lampp of Blackshear; his siblings-in-law, Bill Smith of Jacksonville and Darleen Peacock; his cousin Dennis Courson of Waycross; and his close friend Creighton Harrell. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
