He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Alonzo and Zoie Davis Dixon; his daughter Pamela Youmans; his great grandchild Britain Alex Taylor; and his siblings, Dorothy D. Campbell, Robert Dixon, Raymond Dixon and Alonzo Dixon.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Diane" Kicklighter Dixon of Blackshear; his daughters, Dawn Strickland (Ronnie) of Patterson, Shelia Hewett (Jim) of Blackshear and Nickie Stewart (Jeffrey) of Blackshear; his grandchildren, Ashlye Thrift (Colby) of Patterson, Devin Smith (Madison) of Blackshear, Kandace Bargeron of Brunswick, Kelsy Boles (Nate) of Trenton, FL, Brittany Youmans of Waycross and Kaley Mercado-Reyes (Louis) of Waycross; and his sister Rosa D. Sale of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Enon Cemetery (6882 College Ave, Blackshear, GA 31516).
