She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Terry Nevill; her stepdaughter Jamie Olgesby; her parents, Jefferson Davis Carter and Jessie Oleanie Gregory Carter; her husband James Harvey Elerson, Sr. of Blackshear; her daughters, Sherry Casey (Ben) of Kingsland, GA and Tracie Hartkemeyer (Steve) of Jacksonville, FL; her stepson James Harvey Elerson, Jr. (Michelle) of Athens, GA; and her grandmother White (Craig) of Marietta, GA. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
