He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Andrew and Helen Woodard Hess. He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie England Hess of Blackshear; his children, Christy Harrison of North Carolina, Renee Woodcock (Stacy) of Blackshear and Justin Hess of Chattanooga, TN; his grandchildren, Erin Deckard (Noah), Spencer Woodcock, Mason Woodcock and Cash Hess; his sister Charlotte Lightsey of Baxley; his nieces and nephews, Thomas Lightsey (Vera), Shawn Lightsey (Jessica) and Jordan Lightsey; and his close friend Lisa Moore of Blackshear. He is also survived by many friends and other relatives.
