She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Eugene and Nancy Jane Futch Hickox; her son-in-law Robert Rommel; her siblings, Opal Godwin (Harold), Saidee Fussell (Bill), Naoma Whiteman (Joseph), Eugene Hickox (Lois) and Jimpsey "Pal" Hickox; her niece Marie Kay Shuman; and also, Jack Nix (Mary) and Nathan Godwin.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Franklin Johnson of Blackshear; her daughter Vickie Rommel of Blackshear; her grandchildren, Tiffany Altman (Michael) and Kyle Carter (Shawna); her great grandchildren, Daniel Flowers and Savannah Flowers; and also, Larry Shuman of Douglasville and Barbara Godwin of Cartersville. She is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
