She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Simmons of Blackshear; her children, Karen Walker of Alma, Georgia Simmons of Houma, LA, Susan Clough (Chris) of Blackshear, Kevin Cobb (Kathy) of Savannah, Timmy Chancey (Sarah Schlumbrecht) of Blackshear, Karl Chancey (Tonya) of Blackshear, Donald Hersey (DeDe) of Houma, LA and James Simmons (Michelle) of Houma, LA; and her siblings, Evelyn Rankin (Joe) of Hoboken, Brenda Strickland of Blackshear, Roxanne Strickland of Clarksville, VA, Precious Melinda Strickland of Skipwith, VA, Allen Strickland, Jr. (Lawana) of Blackshear and Earl Strickland of Blackshear. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
