She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry and Lena Estelle Thornton Sweat; and her siblings, Lydia Nell Sweat Mills, Emelyne Sweat Walker, John Carl Sweat, Claude Davis Sweat, Leonard Burney Sweat and James Henry Sweat.
She is survived by: her children, Tracy Hancock of Gatlinburg, TN and Warren Hancock of Eagle, CO; her brother Tommy; her sister-in-law Mary Sweat of Patterson; and her grandson Wyatt Hancock. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
