It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Turk of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Homerville, Georgia, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Joyce and Pearl Dame Joyce; her husband Edward Ernest Turk; her son Gary Turk; and her siblings, Mavis Mobley, Vera May Jefford, Olivia Cason, Alonzo Joyce, Jr. and Reaver Joyce.
She is survived by: her son Dr. Eric Turk of Townsend, Montana; her daughter-in-law Gail Turk (British Columbia) of Victoria; her grandsons, Michael Turk of California and Joseph Turk of Virginia Beach, VA; and her great grandchildren, Sophie Turk and Zoey Turk. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
